Adventists and Muslims Share Fellowship Meal to Promote Faith, Friendship, and Interfaith Understanding

An Adventist leader extends a message of goodwill during the Fellowship Meal and Interfaith Awareness event held on April 2, 2025, at the Life Hope Center in Silang, Cavite. The gathering, hosted by the Southern Asia-Pacific Division, fostered mutual respect and spiritual dialogue between Adventists and Muslims, highlighting shared values of peace, faith, and community.

Adventist Youth Congress 2024

From September 19–21, 2024, over 120 Adventist youth gathered near Cairo for a weekend of worship, training, and fellowship organized by the Egypt-Sudan Field Youth Department. Under the theme “The Sun Will Rise,” Pastor Wadgy Nassif encouraged attendees to focus on Jesus, discover their spiritual gifts, and value their personal testimonies. Alongside inspiring messages, the youth enjoyed sports, swimming, and meaningful connections with friends old and new.

Leaders Called to Come "Back to the Altar"

From September 5–13, 2024, ministerial families from the Egypt-Sudan Field joined a revival and discipleship retreat in Northern Egypt, led by Pastor Don MacLafferty. The event focused on deepening their relationship with Jesus through prayer, Bible activities, and family involvement. Participants were encouraged to live out daily discipleship, starting at home, and to lead others in faith growth.

Seventh-day Adventists in Egypt can be found meeting in churches along the Nile. Since the beginning of the 20th century, the Adventist message (the faith in Jesus' soon Second Coming and the love of God's commandments) has been shared, person to person, throughout this ancient land.

Serving the community through schools, social assistance and lifestyle improvement, the members of the Adventist Church desire to bless everyone, everywhere, for salvation of many and peace for all.
